Official Google Docs Blog: Stop sharing spreadsheets, start collecting information
If your work requires you to gather survey data over the web give this a shot. Data gets shunted right into your spreadsheet immediately. (though I had some trouble submitting the form directly from e-mail, which might be irritating from users. Keep an eye on it though.)
